Third, I should let upsetting thoughts “float” out of my mind because they are just thoughts and not give them credence. This is an incredibly powerful book in helping deal with anxiety and panic attacks.
My mom grabbed a copy for me from the library – although there is more to that story – because I’ve been having a lot of anxiety about some post-partum insomnia I’ve been grappling with. You might feel a bit silly the first time you hear it, but don’t judge an audio book by its reader.
I don’t know if this wekes is still in print, but it’s worth scoping around used book stores to find hopr copy so you can underline passages. The book says those symptoms are all the r I was having a ton of anxiety for a week or so, so I bought this book.
Weekes says chronic anxiety is a result of sensitization, a sort of self-perpetuating cycle of agony that bewilders otherwise intelligent people.

Write a customer yoyr. Comforting to hear the voice of reason almost like a mother figure rather than reading words on a page hel it driven home by voice was very effective for me. My psychologist recommended this to me years ago, and I hated it.
She passed away in I am sure there is other useful material out there, but please get this book if you struggle with any kind of deep anxiety.
